<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refining method for diluent for an organic solvent which reduces chemical oxygen demand value (COD) causative agents contained in the organic solvent and suppresses the increase of COD in the wastewater discharged from the process, in the process of refining metal by using an organic solvent containing alkylnaphthalene-based diluent. <P>SOLUTION: This is a refining method of alkylnaphthalene-based diluent for an organic solvent that treats acid leaching solution of mineral containing nonferrous metal. The refining method for the diluent for an organic solvent includes adding a solution containing a normal salt to the alkylnaphthalene-based diluent in such a manner that specific gravity difference becomes≥0.08 g/cm<SP>3</SP>, shaken and washed and separating a non-aromatic substance contained in the alkylnaphthalene-based diluent into an aqueous phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
