<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The laser processing machine such as laser-flatbed machine for processing plate- or pipe-like workpieces, comprises a displacement device in which a workpiece table (7) for supporting the plate-like workpiece is fixed to move the workpiece table in a processing area (2) of the laser processing machine, and/or a handling device for handling the pipe-like workpiece during the processing of the pipe-like workpiece into the processing area, a guiding device for guiding a support device (5) in a displacement within the processing area. #CMT# : #/CMT# The laser processing machine such as laser-flatbed machine for processing plate- or pipe-like workpieces, comprises a displacement device in which a workpiece table (7) for supporting the plate-like workpiece is fixed to move the workpiece table in a processing area (2) of the laser processing machine, and/or a handling device for handling the pipe-like workpiece during a processing operation of the pipe-like workpiece into the processing area, a guiding device for guiding a support device (5) in a displacement within the processing area, a rotatable clamping chuck as rotary axis for the pipe-like workpiece, a movable laser processing head within the processing area, a control device (17) for coupling the movement of the laser processing head, where the handling device has the support device having a support and feed-through chuck for supporting the pipe-like workpiece. The support device is movably controlled in a longitudinal direction of the pipe-like workpiece over half of the processing area, and is fixed to the displacement device for the workpiece table or the displacement device for a laser processing head, where the displacement device comprises a chain drive (8). The chain drive has a chain with a driver. The support device has a coupling device for determining the chain of the chain drive, where the coupling device interlocks with the chain.
