<p>An electrically powered vehicle includes: a rechargeable power storage device; an external charging structure configured to charge the power storage device using a power source external to the vehicle; and a control device that controls the charging of the power storage device such that a value of state of charge of the power storage device does not exceed an upper limit value of the value of state of charge during the charging of the power storage device by the external charging structure, the upper limit value being defined in association with a fully charged state of the power storage device. The control device increases the upper limit value in accordance with progression of deterioration of the power storage device. The control device changes an amount of change for the upper limit value in accordance with a temperature change of the power storage device.</p> |
