PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate a reduced throughput caused by a transmission delay between a circuit associated with RF and a circuit associated with a PHY layer. SOLUTION: A base station device is connected to a radio terminal and a signal processing device that performs signal processing of a signal received from the radio terminal, and outputs the signal received from the radio terminal to the signal processing device. The base station device pattern matches the received signal with a plurality of signals stored in advance; determines whether or not a first response signal to the received signal is to be transmitted; on determining that the first response signal is to be transmitted, sets to the first response signal a first channel reservation period fixed for each of the plurality of signals stored in advance; and transmits the first response signal.
