PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrangement structure of a refractory capable of accurately grasping a damaged state of a surface refractory layer even by visual observation on a long nozzle of a structure providing the refractory layer (surface refractory layer) different from a refractory layer (body refractory layer) making a body on a melting steel contact face including an inner hole side and an outer peripheral side. SOLUTION: Concerning the long nozzle for continuous casting, a joining part which is a boundary between the surface refractory layer 3 and the body refractory layer 2 is in the form of projections and recesses in a circular circumferential direction. Length Lr (mm) between neighboring top points of a radial direction of the projections and the recesses, length Lbc (mm) of the surface refractory layer between neighboring top points of the circular circumferential direction of the projections and the recesses, length Lac (mm) of the body refractory layer between neighboring top points of the circular circumferential direction of the projections and the recesses, and length Ci from a top point of the most surface region side of the body refractory layer in a radial direction to the most rear face of the same radial direction are in specific range values respectively.
