A controller executes, in a switchable manner, a local generation and local consumption algorithm including: supplying power generated by a solar cell to an appliance; charging a storage cell by using excess power that remains after subtracting the power consumed by the appliance from the power generated by the solar cell; when there is no excess power, supplying the appliance with the power stored in the storage cell together with the power generated by the solar cell; and supplying power from a commercial electrical grid to cover a power shortage that remains after subtracting the power generated by the solar cell and the power supplied by the storage cell from the power consumed by the appliance; and a second algorithm having an excess power selling mode of causing the excess power to reversely flow into the commercial electrical grid, and a peak assist mode of causing all the amount of power generated by the solar cell to reversely flow into the commercial electrical grid, and supplying the power stored in the storage cell to the appliance. |
