PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection stator, a rotation detector and a mounting structure thereof, which makes the alignment and positioning of the detection stator against the detection rotor easier, thereby being capable of securing the detection accuracy of the rotation detector. SOLUTION: A motor 2 includes a rotating shaft 14 and a motor housing 11 containing the rotating shaft 14, and the motor housing 11 has a mounting hole 18 provided at a position corresponding to the tip of the rotating shaft 14. The detection rotor 7 is fixed to the tip of the rotating shaft 14. The detection stator 6 includes: a detection part 31 which is formed like a plate with a resin and has a planar coil disposed on the surface 31a; an outer peripheral wall part 32 extending in the shaft direction at the outer peripheral edge of the detection part 31; and flange parts 33 extending in the radial direction from the outer peripheral wall part 32. The detection stator 6 is disposed so that the surface side of the detection part 31 is opposed to the detection rotor 7 and directed to the inside of the motor housing 11 in the mounting hole 18, and fixed to the outside of the motor housing 11 by screws 39 at the flange parts 33.
