PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for winding a coil conductor, capable of winding one end of a coil conductor wire to a first pulley and winding the other end of the coil conductor wire to a second pulley in a short period of time. SOLUTION: A winding method and a winding device 100 are used to wind a coil strand 18a around first and second pulleys 104 and 106. After winding starting end part of the coil strand 18a around a temporarily wound pulley 102, the coil strand 18a is wound around a split core part 14 to form a coil 18, and then a terminal end part of the coil strand 18a is wound around the temporarily wound pulley 102. Then, the starting end part of the coil strand 18a is wound around the first pulley 104 and the terminal end part of the coil strand 18a is wound around the second pulley 106 simultaneously.
