PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having a filter cleaning mechanism which enables easy maintenance and part replacement, can be easily configured when mounted, and easily assembled while reducing cost. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner 1 equipped with the filter cleaning mechanism 23, the filter cleaning mechanism 23 comprises: a filter driving roller 24 which moves at least an air filter along a filter movement path; a rotary brush 25 for scraping off dust from the air filter; a dust box 26 which collects the dust scraped off by the rotary brush 25; a filter guide member which forms the filter movement path; a driving mechanism 38 which includes a motor and the like for driving the filter driving roller 24 and the rotary brush 25; and the like.
