<p>The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing a virtual menu and, more specifically, to a technique capable of ordering to perform a function by operating only the electronic device which is illuminated by a camera phone in the case that there are multiple electronic devices having an identical visual marker in appearance. In order to achieve this, the system for providing a virtual menu according to the present invention comprises a database, an identification information extraction unit, an identification information reception unit, an object recognition unit, and a virtual menu augmentation unit. The database stores identification information on at least one object and information on a virtual menu corresponding to the identification information. The identification information extraction unit extracts a first piece of identification information of a first object from an image received by photographing using a camera. The identification information reception unit receives a second piece of identification information from one or more objects having the same first piece of identification information as the extracted first piece of identification information. The object recognition unit recognizes the first object based on the received second piece of identification information. The virtual menu augmentation unit provides a virtual menu for the recognized first object.</p> |
