1. An image forming apparatus, comprising:
a job control unit configured to impose an execution restriction on a job if a number of simultaneously-executed jobs on a function-to-function basis reaches an upper limit value; a guaranteed job count setting unit configured to set a guaranteed job count, wherein the guaranteed job count provides a guaranteed number of simultaneously-executable jobs on the function-to-function basis; and a shared job count setting unit configured to set a shared job count that can be allocated in common to respective functions, which provides the number of simultaneously-executable jobs, wherein if a number of other simultaneously-executed jobs is less than or equal to the guaranteed job count, the upper limit value is a maximum value, wherein the maximum value is obtained by adding the guaranteed job count and the shared job count, and wherein if the number of the other simultaneously-executed jobs exceeds the guaranteed job count, the upper limit value is obtained by subtracting an excess amount allocated to the other simultaneously-executed jobs from the maximum value. |
