Disclosed is a method for controlling an electronic device correcting a photographed image. The controlling method according to the present invention comprises the following steps of: obtaining an image by photographing a subject; determining a tilted degree of the electronic device at the moment of photographing the subject; correcting the image as if the electronic device photographed the subject at the front of the subject based on the tilted degree of the electronic device; and performing optical character recognition for the corrected image.
