Disclosed are a reverse auction method through a wired/wireless communication network and a system thereof, which commercializes purchase information of a purchaser and reflects the commercialized purchase information on a reverse auction. A reverse auction method according to a preferable embodiment of the present invention includes: (a) a step in which a purchaser registers information of a product to purchase through a wired/wireless communication network in a reverse auction server; (b) a step in which the reverse auction server generates purchase product information on the basis of product information registered in the step (a) and provides the purchase product information for two or more suppliers selling the product through the wired/wireless communication network; (c) a step in which each of two or more bidders among the suppliers registers purchase assisting money and a bidding price to assist the purchaser to purchase in the reverse auction server through the wired/wireless communication network in order to sell the product; (d) a step in which the reverse auction server provides the purchase assisting money and the bidding prices registered in the step (c) for the purchaser as bidding information through the wired/wireless communication network; and (e) a step in which the purchaser receives the bidding information, and then transmits successful bidder information to the reverse auction server, in case a successful bidder is determined. |
