1. A method of converting video data to film data comprising:
combining video data from a first field and a third field to produce first field video data, by a deinterlacer, wherein the video data comprises no repeated fields resulting from a telecine process, and wherein the first field video data produced from the combining is a field of video data and not a frame of video data; providing second field video data by a copy module, wherein the second field video data is not a second frame of video data; and merging the first field video data and the second field video data to produce first frame video data, by the copy module.
