An air conditioner for an automobile, comprising: an air conditioning case provided with a face vent having an open degree controlled by a first door, a defrost vent having an open degree controlled by a second door, and a floor vent having an open degree controlled by a third door; a blowing part connected to an inlet of the air conditioning case to blow external air; an evaporator and a heater core provided in the air conditioning case; a temp-door controlling open degrees of a cool air passage and a warm air passage in the air conditioning case; a perfume generating unit including an air inlet through which air is introduced, an air outlet through which the air is discharged, and a perfume generating part generating a perfume; and a discharging part connected to the air outlet of the perfume generating unit, formed in a width direction of the air conditioning case so as to supply the air transferred through the air outlet into the air conditioning case, and provided with one or more communication holes, wherein the other side of a supply pipe having one side connected to the air outlet of the perfume generating unit is connected to a door axis of one of the first door, the second door, the third door, and the temp-door in the air conditioning case, and the door axis connected to the supply pipe is formed in a pipe shape in which an inner portion thereof is hollowed and is provided with one or more communication holes formed by hollowing a predetermined region of an outer surface thereof to form the discharging part.
