PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid-filled vibration damping device which can simply and effectively dissolve abnormal sound due to cavitation accompanied by an input of impulsive load or the like.SOLUTION: A fluid-filled vibration damping device 10 includes: a main liquid chamber 38 in which pressure fluctuations are caused based on deformation of a main body rubber elastomer 16 upon vibration inputting; an auxiliary liquid chamber 40 in which relative pressure fluctuations are generated between the main liquid chamber 38 and the auxiliary liquid chamber 40; and an orifice passage 42 which permits such flow of non-compressible fluid enclosed into the main liquid chamber 38 and the auxiliary liquid chamber 40 between both liquid chambers 38, 40. Therein, inorganic reformed fine particles 46 made by reforming surface of hydrophilic inorganic fine particles with a lipophilic compound, which disperse air bubbles when air bubble nuclei are added and the main liquid chamber 38 is decompressed are mixed to the enclosed fluid enclosed into the main liquid chamber 38. |
