PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely control a home electric appliance.SOLUTION: When a home electric appliance has been operated from a remote place, a control device 20 transmits a confirmation request signal to a communication terminal 40 (a step S203) and waits a response signal to be transmitted from the communication terminal 40. When a response signal from the communication terminal 40 has not been received by the passage of a reference time T1 (a step S204:Yes), a change by an operation performed via the communication terminal 40 is canceled (a step S305). Thus, a home electric appliance can be safely controlled even in a case where communication between the communication terminal 40 and the control device 20 is lost or becomes unstable when the home electric appliance has been operated from a remote place with the use of the communication terminal 40.
