PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device having an excellent appearance.SOLUTION: An illumination device 1 comprises: a plurality of base plates 100 formed to be jointed generally in a circle shape as a whole: and a plurality of light emitting elements 110 disposed on the substrate 100 with reference to a reference line. The reference line is either a circumferential line jointed in a circumferential direction by the substrate 100 or a polygonal line having apexes on the circumferential line. In the case where the substrate 100 selects the two light emitting elements 110 adjacent in the circumferential direction, in which the two adjacent light emitting elements are jointed, as a pair, the two light emitting elements 110 contained in the pair have the pair, in which at least one of the distance from the reference line and the direction to leave the reference line is different. |
