<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a celestial event discovery support system capable of continuously observing a state of a celestial body in which a specific event may be generated (for example, Betelgeuse having a possibility of explosion) in live and making the discovery easy and capable of recording timing of the discovery.SOLUTION: A Betelgeuse explosion discovery support system 1 has a moving picture distribution server 14 and a discovery operation recording server 15. The moving picture distribution server 14 distributes live a moving picture obtained from a telescope 11 selected from among a plurality of telescopes 11 installed to automatically track the Betelgeuse to a client computer 70 of a plurality of users. The discovery operation recording server 15, upon receipt from the client computer 70 a signal detecting a discovery operation which is an operation accompanied with the discovery by the user with the moving picture that the Betelgeuse has exploded, records at least identification information for identifying a user and a discovery date.</p> |
