<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder block which has high wear resistance of parts corresponding to the vicinities of the top dead point and the bottom dead points of a piston, with the content of silicon carbide of a plated film in the parts enriched, and to provide an apparatus and a method for plating treatment of cylinder block.SOLUTION: A cylinder block 101 includes a cylindrical cylinder inner peripheral surface 103 partitioning a cylinder bore 102 and a plated film which covers the cylinder inner peripheral surface 103 and has a concentration of silicon carbide of 0.8-1.6 wt.% in parts corresponding each to the top dead point and the bottom dead point of a piston reciprocating through the cylinder bore 102.</p> |
