PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave transmissible material having a high transmittance of an electromagnetic wave, and capable of maintaining metallic sheen over a long period.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave transmissible material is formed by providing a metal film (2) on the surface of an electromagnetic wave transmissible base material (1). The metal film (2) comprises palladium or a palladium alloy formed by electroless plating, and has a film thickness of 10nm-1μm. When the metal film (2) has fine metal regions divided by crack, the number of the fine metal regions is 2-10,000 per unit area (1 mm).
