PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to arrange a power reception unit and a power transmission unit at appropriate positions.SOLUTION: A power reception device 11 includes a power reception unit 200 configured to be able to be moved to a storage position S1, a detection position S2, and a power reception position S3. When being arranged at the power reception position S3, the power reception unit 200 receives power from a power transmission unit provided outside a vehicle in a non-contact manner. When being arranged at the detection position S2, the power reception unit 200 detects a strength of a magnetic field or an electric field formed by the power transmission unit. A distance between the power reception position S3 and the detection position S2 is shorter than that between the power reception position S3 and the storage position S1.
