摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce generation of discomfort between driver's operation of an accelerator pedal and an output torque actually generated by a drive motor.SOLUTION: A driving force controller comprises: target-torque-basic-value calculation means 6 calculating a target torque basic value of a drive motor based on a motor rotational speed and an accelerator opening; maximum-discharge-power-equivalent motor torque computing means 4 computing a maximum-discharge-power-equivalent motor torque from maximum discharge power and the motor rotational speed; and target torque setting means 5, 7, and 8 restricting an upper limit of the target torque basic value from the target torque basic value and the maximum-discharge-power-equivalent motor torque and setting the restricted target torque basic value as a target torque. The target torque setting means 5, 7, and 8 move the accelerator opening at which the restricted target torque is generated to a larger accelerator opening than this accelerator opening on a graph representing a relation between the accelerator opening and the target torque, and correct the target torque basic value so that the target torque is smaller than the target torque basic value in a smaller accelerator opening region than the restricted accelerator opening.
