PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastomer which has a high dielectric breakdown voltage in spite of a low hardness, and consequently can achieve high deformability of a transducer element even dispensing with a pre-strain process.SOLUTION: The elastomer contains a matrix composed of a polyurethane as a main constituent, and an oil dispersed in the matrix, where the oil includes an alkyl-substituted diphenyl ether. The constitutional unit of the polyurethane is preferably derived from a polyolefinic polyol. The polyolefinic polyol have preferably a structure in which polyisoprene is hydrogenated to a main chain. The content of the oil to 100 pts. mass of the polyurethane is preferably 10 pts. mass or more and 250 pts. mass or less. The JIS-A hardness is preferably 50 or less. |
