PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a filament, in which conversion efficiency is enhanced by a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A film forming step for forming a ceramic layer on the surface of a filament base material, a heating step for heating the filament base material, to cause reaction of the filament base material layer and the ceramics layer on the boundary surface thereof, thus roughening the surface of the filament base material, and a removal step for removing the ceramics layer from the surface of the filament base material are performed in order, thus manufacturing a filament having a roughened surface. Since the reflectance of a visible region is reduced and the emittance is improved, conversion efficiency of input power into visible light can be enhanced. |
