PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain both EV travel in the vicinity of a destination and improvement of fuel economy over an entire travel route.SOLUTION: A travel mode planning unit that assigns each of sections to an HV travel section or EV travel section on the basis of a travel load in each of the sections of a travel route is included in a travel planning ECU 1. A travel control unit that controls an engine and rotary machine as a power source in the sections assigned to the HV travel section, and controls the rotary machine as the power source in the sections assigned to the EV travel section is included in a travel control ECU 2. The travel mode planning unit assigns a section, which includes at least a destination of the travel route, to an EV top priority section that is the EV travel section, and assigns the remaining sections other than the EV top priority section of the travel route to the HV travel section or EV travel section on the basis of the travel load and a remaining capacity of a secondary battery. |
