<p>The present invention relates to a large capacity preheating furnace that provides high temperature scraps to an electric furnace and a scrap preheating method. The preheating furnace includes: a scrap supply part disposed on the top of a preheating part; the preheating part on which scraps supplied from the scrap supply part are accumulated and preheated by means of flue gas introduced from a connection part connected to a melting furnace; and a pusher disposed on the bottom of the preheating part to provide the preheated scraps to the connection part connected to the melting furnace, wherein the preheating part has a preheating passage integrally connected to the melting furnace.</p> |
