PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a sintered ore, by which sintering productivity can be improved by preventing solid fuel powder from being buried into a quasi-particle thereby increasing a combustion speed of the solid fuel powder.SOLUTION: The method for producing a sintered ore by a Dwight Lloyd type sintering machine comprises: dividing a solid fuel powder into two of a solid fuel fine powder and a solid fuel coarse powder having an average particle size larger than that of the fine powder; granulating the solid fuel fine powder with an iron ore, an auxiliary raw material and return ore to form quasi-particles; and adding the solid fuel coarse powder to the quasi-particles and mixing them in the process of conveying them to a surge hopper after finishing the granulation step, and sintering the resultant mixture. A ratio of the solid fuel coarse powder to the total solid fuel powder is set to be within the range of 20-80 mass%. The solid fuel coarse powder desirably includes 30 mass% or more of the solid fuel powder having a particle size of 3-5 mm. |
