PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guard fence for vehicles which includes a plurality of pillars having both of strength and rust-prevention and cross rails laid over the pillars, and in which the pillar can have a degree-of-freedom in shape.SOLUTION: A pillar 3 is a double-structured casting having a coating part 21 made of a first metal excellent in rust-prevention on the outer side and a pillar core part 22 made of a second metal more excellent than the first metal on the inner side. Specifically, the first metal forming the coating part 21 is aluminum (AC7A) or the like excellent in rust-prevention, while the second metal forming the pillar core part 22 is rolled steel (SS400), cast iron (FCD450) or the like excellent in strength. The pillar 3 is a cast-in structure body manufactured by coating the second metal (pillar core part 22) with the first metal (coating part 21) and bringing the coating part 21 into close contact with the whole surface of the pillar core part 22. |
