PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photon detection device and a radiation measuring device attaining miniaturization and capable of improving a spatial resolution further than before.SOLUTION: A photon which hits a photon absorption film 6 among photons generated inside a scintillator 5 is absorbed into the photon absorption film 6. The photon which transmits from a pin hole 7 is detected by a SPAD 17 located in a direction to which the photon flies, and therefore, the photon does not repeat reflection inside the scintillator 5, and by that much, an analysis for estimating a location where the photon is generated becomes easier than before, and a space resolution can be improved. Further, the photon having transmitted from the pin hole 7 is detected by a plurality of SPADs 17, and the location where the photon is generated can be estimated based on a distribution state of the presence or absence of a detection of the photon by each SPAD 17. Therefore, a plurality of types of scintillators 5 having different characteristics or a photo multiplier for multiplying photons can be dispensed with, thus attaining simplified device structure and miniaturization of the device. |
