PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain recovery system capable of increasing the capacity of an assist tank, and capable of shortening time until water supply from the assist tank to a boiler is started.SOLUTION: A drain recovery system includes: a cylindrical shaped assist tank 41 in which drain generated in a load device 20 is accommodated, and which is arranged so that a height direction is along a vertical direction; a drain supply line L2 which connects the load device 20 and the assist tank 41; a drain supply valve 71 which opens/closes the drain supply line L2; a steam supply line L3 which connects a boiler 10 and the assist tank 41; a steam supply valve 72 which opens/closes the steam supply line L3; a water supply line L4 which connects the assist tank 41 and the boiler 10; and a water supply pump 60 which is arranged in the water supply line L4. In the assist tank 41, a ratio of height with respect to a diameter is 3 or more. |
