PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for image noise reduction.SOLUTION: A method includes: decomposing an original image into a luminance channel image and at least one chromaticity channel image; calculating a weighted average value of each pixel of the luminance channel image and the chromaticity channel image on the basis of luminance information; and correcting each pixel of the luminance channel image and the chromaticity channel image. Chromatic dispersion of an edge part of the image effectively can be evaded, and an easy installation and low cost can be achieved.
