<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate brake force equal to an engine brake properly even in a case that regenerative brake force cannot be generated and defect of a friction brake system, which is normally used as the brake force equal to an engine brake is generated.SOLUTION: When an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal are not operated, brake force equal to an engine brake of a vehicle having an internal combustion engine is generated by generating regenerative brake force by a motor generator. When a battery for charging regenerative power is fully charged, a motor cylinder device 16 drives disk brake mechanisms 30a-30d, and the brake force equal to an engine brake can be generated by friction brake force. In this case, when abnormality of a motor 72 or the like of the motor cylinder device 16 is detected, a vehicle behavior stabilization device 18 is directly controlled to drive the disk brake mechanisms 30a-30d, and the friction brake force generates the brake force equal to the engine brake.</p> |
