PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coming-off preventing structure of an external fitting member externally fitted to a shaft, and a slide-type constant velocity joint, capable of properly improving rigidity in the coming-off direction of the external fitting member by optimizing the shape of a stopper ring preventing coming-off of the external fitting member externally fitted to the shaft, and suppressing degradation of workability in fitting the stopper ring to a ring groove.SOLUTION: An external fitting member (11) is fitted to an inserting portion of a shaft 12, a C-ring-shaped stopper ring 13 is fitted to a ring groove of an outer peripheral face of the projecting inserting portion, and a projecting portion 13T projecting toward a tip side of the inserting portion and opposed to the outer peripheral face of the inserting portion at its inner peripheral face, is formed on a tip-side end face of the inserting portion of the end face projecting to a radial outer side from the ring groove of the stopper ring fitted to the ring groove. The projecting portion is formed in a range including a position at an opposite side of a cut portion in the radial direction through the center of the stopper ring without being formed over the whole periphery of the stopper ring. |
