PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily match a setting value between a computer for a main system and a computer for a backup system.SOLUTION: A distributed control system comprises a main system computer 11 and a backup system computer 12 that control a target device in a plant 14 through a controller 13. In the system, when receiving a change in a setting value of the target device, the main system computer transmits after-change setting data including a changed setting value to the controller; however, when receiving response data from the controller, it holds the changed setting value included in the response data. The backup system computer also holds the changed setting value included in the response data when receiving the response data from the controller, and the controller transmits the response data to the after-change setting data to the main system computer and the backup system computer when receiving the after-change setting data. |
