PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door mechanism for a machine tool in which the machine tool can be made up in a compact form at an inexpensive price, it is unnecessary to delay a travel speed of a pallet during an APC operation, and it is possible to exchange an unmachined work-piece with a machined work-piece in a short time.SOLUTION: A door mechanism 10 for a machining center 1 comprises, for example, a wide width panel 6a, narrow width panels 6b, 6c, a pair of upper and lower slide rails having U-shaped cross sections for fitting the wide width panel 6a and the narrow width panels 6b, 6c thereto, and three motors that are driving means for independently driving the wide width panel 6a and the narrow width panels 6b, 6c.
