PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the attribute of a content recorded in a media even when corresponding data does not exist in a database.SOLUTION: A data retrieval device 10 includes: a local database 141 that stores retrieval data and content attribute data in association with each other; a retrieval data extraction processing unit 21 that extracts the retrieval data from an externally inserted media; an attribute data retrieval processing unit 22 that retrieves attribute data corresponding to the extracted retrieval data from the local database 141; and a retrieval data storage processing unit 23 that, when the attribute data corresponding to the extracted retrieval data does not exist in the local database 141, stores the retrieval data. If the local database 141 is updated, the attribute data retrieval processing unit 22 re-retrieves attribute data, corresponding to the retrieval data being stored, from the local database 141. |
