PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a display device arranged between glass substrates.SOLUTION: A lower edge part 472 of the display device 470 is held by a display device holding member 520. The display device holding member 520 is stuck to the first surface 412 formed on the opposed inside of the first glass substrate 410 to the space 430 to hold the display device 470. A transparent adhesive material is applied to the display surface 474 of the display device 470 to form a third adhesive layer 530. The transparent adhesive material is also applied to an adherend surface 522 and a step part 524 of the display device holding member 520 to form a fourth adhesive layer 540. The adherend surface 522 of the display device holding member 520 is made extremely lightweight in comparison with the display device 470, and is stuck to the opposed surface 412 of the first glass substrate 410 to the space 430 with the fourth adhesive layer 540 being interposed therebetween.
