PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical capacitor having high binding properties as a binder, small internal resistance, large electrostatic capacitance, and small charge-discharge cycle degradation.SOLUTION: The binder may be used for an electrochemical capacitor electrode such as a double-layer capacitor and a lithium ion capacitor by providing a binder including a polymer containing a constitutional unit derived from a monomer having a hydroxyl group and a constitutional unit derived from a multifunctional (meta) acrylate monomer. |
