PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the support rigidity of the middle of a front bumper, to absorb the impact acting at light collision, and to reduce the repair expense of the front bumper.SOLUTION: A front bumper 1 is supported to a headlamp housing 13 by bridging the middle of a rear face of the front bumper 1 in a vertical direction and the housing 13 using a support member 21. The support member 21 has on the top thereof, a fastener 25 detachably engaging with the housing 13, and the base end of the support member is installable and removable to and from the rear face of the front bumper 1. The bumper has a fragile part 29g between the top and the base end. As a result, the fragile part 29g breaks by the impact acting on the bumper 1 at light collision from the front of the vehicle and allows the movement of the bumper 1 to the rear of the vehicle to absorb a light collision energy. |
