PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mounting blocks for mounting reducing elements on a rotary drum for comminuting a material, a comminuting apparatus capable of varying the bite of the reducing element, and a method for adjustment.SOLUTION: Mounting blocks 45 for mounting reducing elements on a rotary drum of a comminuting apparatus are disclosed. Block through-holes 67 in the mounting block 45 are arranged such that the mounting block 45 is mounted on a mounting surface of a pocket in two different positions. The mounting blocks 45 may be mounted on multiple positions to vary the bite size of the reducing elements of the rotary drum. |
