PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-capturing device capable of detecting a focal point with stable accuracy, even when the number of thinned pixels changes.SOLUTION: The image-capturing device has a pixel unit 301 in which are arranged a plurality of pixels 400 capable of reading out a plurality of signals, each corresponding to a beam emitting a different exit pupil. When an image signal for an image-capture surface phase difference AF is generated from pixel signals thinned out at a set thinning rate, a pixel signal readout range is corrected so that it is the same as a readout range at a reference thinning rate. |
