PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction catheter assembly improving transportability of a suction catheter when inserting the suction catheter into a guide catheter in a bent state by reducing a contact area between the guide catheter and the suction catheter.SOLUTION: In a suction catheter assembly 1, a suction catheter 2 includes a bulging part 40 at a first tubular body 10 thereof, so that, even when a second tubular body 20 of a guide catheter 3 inserted into a blood vessel is bent, a contact part between the first tubular body 10 of the suction catheter 2 and the second tubular body 20 of the guide catheter 3 is defined as the bulging part 40 so as to reduce friction resistance between the suction catheter 2 and the guide catheter 3. This configuration can improve transportability of the suction catheter 2 so as to facilitate arrival of the suction catheter 2 to a target area. |
