PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To divide a disaster area into a plurality of areas and display a recovery rate in the divided area, and thereby the intensive work by workers is avoided to enable precise recovery work instructions.SOLUTION: A wide area disaster recovery support system includes a monitoring device 2 for transmitting abnormality notification and recovery notification of an elevator, and a monitoring center 10 for receiving the notification through a communication line 3. The monitoring center 10 includes: a storage unit 13 for storing the abnormality notification and the recovery notification for every elevator; a property information unit 14 for maintaining position information of the elevator; a map information unit 15 for storing map information; area dividing means 23 for dividing the map of a wide area into predetermined areas on the basis of the map information; property extraction means 22 for extracting the elevator installed in the predetermined area on the basis of the position information of the property information unit; recovery rate calculation means 21 for calculating the recovery rate in the predetermined area based on the numbers of the abnormality notifications and recovery information stored in the storage unit; and a display device 24 for displaying the recovery rate for every predetermined area on the map.
