PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial rotation type linear motor which has a simple structure that allows a movable element to be linearly and rotationally operated and achieves downsizing, space saving, and weight reduction.SOLUTION: An axial rotation type linear motor 100 includes: a hollow movable element 1 including a shaft part 10A, an outer cylinder part 11, and multiple permanent magnets 14 located in the outer cylinder part 11; an armature 2 which encloses the hollow movable element 1 and has multiple coils 20; and a frame 3 that houses the armature 2. The shaft part 10A is supported by a linear guide 10 that may linearly move and rotate. |
