PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage adjustment circuit of solar cell strings, by means of which power loss of the solar cell strings when the solar cell strings having different output voltages are connected in parallel to each other can be reduced, and which has low cost and high reliability.SOLUTION: A voltage adjustment circuit 1 is incorporated between solar cell strings Str1 and Str2 connected in parallel to each other through an external load and reverse current prevention diodes D1 and D2, and includes: switching elements S1, S2, S3 and S4 each switched and controlled by a switching control circuit; an inductor L; capacitors C1 and C2 as a smoothing circuit; and voltage sensors Vd1 and Vd2 for detecting the output voltage of the respective solar cell string. The inductor L performs periodic electric power storage/discharge by switching operation of each switching element, so that variation in an output voltage between the solar cell strings is adjusted and current-voltage characteristics to the external load is improved, thereby power generation efficiency is increased. |
