PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problem that, in a multilevel conversion circuit using a capacitor called as a flying capacitor and an AC switch, although voltage of the capacitor is controlled to be a desired value by arbitrarily switching an operation of a semiconductor switch, a circuit for detecting voltage of a plurality of capacitors having no common point in terms of potential becomes complicated, which causes increase in cost.SOLUTION: Due to provision of a configuration for connecting a plurality of capacitors by coupling means constituted of a diode, a reverse block type semiconductor switch, a resistor, and the like, and provision of a circuit for clamping voltage of the capacitors to a predetermined value, the voltage of the capacitors are detected to arbitrarily switch an operation of the semiconductor switch, and the number of capacitors controlled to a desired value is reduced, and thereby, a circuit is configured so that voltage of all capacitors becomes a desired value. |
