PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance safety in remote control to equipment in a house.SOLUTION: In an energy management system 1, a controller 100 acquires an environmental parameter which indicates environments in a house. The controller 100 receives an instruction for remotely controlling an air conditioning system 104 installed in a house, from terminal devices 40A, 40B, 40C in the outside of the house. When the instruction is received, the controller 100 transmits an inquiry whether processing corresponding to the received instruction is performed or not, together with the acquired environmental parameter. The controller 100 controls the air conditioning system 104, on the basis of a response to the inquiry. |
