PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a foam having sound absorption peak performance in a low frequency band and further capable of suppressing deterioration in sound absorption performance in a high frequency band and the like.SOLUTION: The production method comprises: a discharge step of discharging a material obtained by heating and kneading a pulp fiber component, a synthetic resin component, a starch component as an auxiliary agent and water from discharge ports 12, 13; and a roller pressing step of regulating the foam region of the foam discharged from the discharge ports 12, 13 with a regulation frame wall 20 and pressing the upper face of the foam 1 pressed out while being regulated with the regulation frame wall 20 as rollers 21 are rotated thereon. |
