PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease production method which uses no water-soluble organic solvent and is thus free of problems of inflammation and poisoning and a grease obtained by the production method.SOLUTION: The grease production method is characterized by forming a grease by using a calcium salt of an aromatic sulfonic acid having an aliphatic group as a thickener and no water-soluble organic solvent. Using no water-soluble organic solvent, the method of the present invention does not cause problems of poisoning or inflammation due to the organic solvent in a grease formation step. The method is especially suitable as a method of producing a calcium sulfonate complex grease. |
